Layering makes a big difference in your guest’s comfort.  Having various bedding items helps to add depth and texture to your bed, and also allows guests to sleep in the temperature that’s most comfortable for them. Include a lightweight blanket, heavier duvet, and extra pillows. 

Consider extra amenities - Small touches can make a big impact on your guests. Look for some little extras that will make their stay more enjoyable. Things like a reading light, a charging station, and a pitcher of water all add more convenience and comfort. 

Find plush towels - Soft and fluffy towels are a must-have in a luxurious guest bath. Plan to provide at least two sets of towels per guest, including hand towels and washcloths. Look for fabrics that are easy to care for and won’t get discolored too easily. Clean and declutter - A clean and tidy guest bed and bath is essential. Many people end up using their guest room as a form of storage. That means you’ll need to get some things out and make more room. The closet should be empty with some hangers, and the night-stand should have plenty of space for guests to set things like glasses or their phone. Before anyone arrives, make sure to do a sweep of the bathroom. Is the shower clean? How about the shower curtain and counter? Make sure there’s enough space for guests to set their toiletries.
